About Us

 My name is Keele, owner and founder. I am 26 years old and mum to my beautiful little boy Oak. Back in 2019 we traded under the name Prickle Free. My first outing was to the Byron Bay Markets with 30 safety razors. I wasn’t happy with the products available to me at the time and I was very concerned with how disposable our world had become. We sold out within in hours. I started sourcing more eco friendly bathroom products to add and the business grew. This is when when I decided to move into kitchen products. This lead me to the silicone containers and a rebranding. The Zero Waste People was born! I had found my niche and started designing my own colours and eventually my own products. A little scary at first as these Bento Lunchbox’s were completely unique, designed by me. A mould was eventually made and the product hit the “shelves”. It was an instant success and customers loved it. This drove me to introduce more colours and products and eventually to add another bento. The Big Bento joined the team, again designed by me. During this time we also added personalisation which is the icing on the cake. Now I feel like we have something for everyone. But stay tuned, there will always be more to come!
